Who We Are
Vanuatu Citizenship Cost is published by the Collegium of International Lawyers. It is built around the question most applicants ask first: what does Vanuatu citizenship by investment actually cost? The site sets out the minimum prices under the Development Support Program (DSP) — US$130,000 for a single applicant, US$150,000 for a couple, US$165,000 for a couple with one child under 18 and US$180,000 for a couple with two — together with the US$5,000 due diligence fee per applicant and the other charges fixed by regulation. These figures are taken from the Citizenship (Development Support Program) Regulations, Order No. 33 of 2019 as amended by Order No. 39 of 2020, made under the Citizenship Act [CAP 112].
This site does not lodge applications. Under the regulations, only a designated agent from the published register can submit a DSP application, and the decision rests with the Vanuatu Citizenship Commission. What a consultation can do is explain how the total is built up, which relatives can be included, when the 25% and 75% instalments of the government fee fall due and what the due diligence checks look at. With that, you can compare agents' quotes and ask the right questions before committing any money. Where the law or the regulations leave a point open, we say so rather than guess.
Processing usually takes two to four months, but no date is guaranteed and the outcome is for the Commission to decide. You do not have to live in Vanuatu; two steps are, however, completed in person — biometrics for the passport, in Port Vila or at an approved location abroad, and the oath before a Commissioner for Oaths — and the designated agent confirms how and where they are currently arranged.
